Following the Israeli strikes, a convoy of six ships including the Turkish ship TCG Bayraktar left for Lebanon to evacuate Turkish and foreign citizens.

The convoy left Mersin with 300 tonnes of humanitarian aid equipment, food, tents, beds and blankets.
Turkish officials said further maritime evacuations would be organized if necessary.
Around 2,000 Turks are being evacuated.
