For the very first time in two millennia of history, the iconic arena in the Croatian seaside town of Pula has been transformed into a Christmas ice rink.

The arena, which dates back to the 1st century AD, is one of the largest surviving Roman amphitheaters and one of Croatia’s most famous monuments.

Unlike the exclusive events that previously took place there mainly in summer, the arena is now a welcoming space, inviting everyone to celebrate the winter spirit together.
