For the very first time in two millennia of history, the iconic arena in the Croatian seaside town of Pula has been transformed into a Christmas ice rink.

The arena, which dates back to the 1st century AD, is one of the largest surviving Roman amphitheaters and one of Croatia’s most famous monuments.
