The Halcyon Gallery in London presents an extensive collection of works by the artist, including paintings never before exhibited to the public, in the exhibition “Beyond the Brand“, literally “beyond the mark”.
In the mid-1980s, the American artist produced a series entitled “Ads” (“ad” in French), which features many famous brands, such as Chanel, Paramount or Apple.
The series allows us to observe the way in which Andy Warhol perceived the big brands on billboards, but also demonstrates his ability to identify the icons of the future.
More than 100 works are presented at the exhibition “Beyond the Brand“ at the Halcyon Gallery in London from January 18 to March 24, 2024.
