The Military Affairs correspondent at Channel 12, Al -Nir Dafuri, pointed to shocking figures indicating the depth of the psychological crisis in the army, where about 20,000 soldiers suffer from post -traumatic symptoms, and this number is expected to double.

Davori described these numbers as unprecedented in the history of Israel, which indicates the size of the next psychological and social challenge.

The correspondent of social affairs on the channel also dealt with 12 megawatts, the human dimension of the crisis, noting that there is a full generation that has been fighting the battles for nearly two years, where the soldiers are fighting successive rounds in a long battle, and those who return from them alive find themselves forced to fight a new battle in order to survive psychologically and socially.

Criticism of the war management

For its part, a member of the Knesset of a party that has a future, Miral Cohen, criticized the war administration, warning against the death of more deaths, not because of the enemies, but because of the Israeli behavior itself.

Cohen indicated that young soldiers entered the battle without appropriate rehabilitation, the non -reserve soldiers received sufficient training, in addition to the recruitment of shocking soldiers and the extension of the depleted soldiers service.

The former head of the Army Operations Division, Yisrael Zeev, joined the critical voices, warning that the government is seriously harmful to the army, and that the soldiers are facing serious moral problems that may lead to the emergence of unwanted phenomena in the army, and to link the moral level to the government’s ability to defend the army in an ethical manner.

Regarding the confidence of the public in the government, Bin David revealed a widespread state of the Israeli public from the war, as most citizens do not see a clear or feasible goal of its continuation, with the exception of a small group that he described as “war lovers.”

The Channel 12 correspondent of the channel added a personal dimension of the crisis, citing the words of an officer from the Golani Brigade who was killed in the battle, who criticized the presence of groups evading the bearing of the military burden, while others continue to push their lives a price for an endless war on the horizon.

For his part, Political Affairs analyst Amnon Abramovich quoted a senior officer that he had no longer military for a long time.

Abramovich accused the government of involving the army in a conflict that may last for years, aimed at controlling a hostile society, which serves the vision of the government’s survival and displacement projects offered by some ministers, warning that this trend may lead to a comprehensive defeat for Israel militarily, economically, socially and internationally.
