Israel is faced with the conviction of some of its strongest allies about its growing assault in Gaza.

The United Kingdom cancels new commercial negotiations and the EU examines the former agreements, while the two impose sanctions on the Israeli settlers in occupied West Bank.

The two powers say that they cannot stay in hand while Israel is expanding military operations, increases the air strikes and hugs of the Palestinians in Gaza with its total blockage.

But the criticisms ask why they did not intervene before.

Will new measures be imposed?
