In the Gaza Strip, where the humanitarian situation is catastrophic, hundreds of people ran to humanitarian aid trucks on Wednesday to collect flour, canned goods and water from Turkey and Egypt.

According to the UN, famine is “virtually inevitable” for Gaza’s 2.2 million inhabitants.

This Wednesday, in the occupied West Bank, the European Commissioner in charge of crises, Janez Lenarčič, visited a school managed by the UN agency for aid to the Palestinians, he supported the work “vital” of UNRWA in the region.

This UN agency is the target of Israel, which accuses it of collusion with Hamas.

The United States says it is preparing a new resolution on the ceasefire in Gaza. “Last night, we incorporated additional changes and circulated a new draft that unequivocally supports diplomatic efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire of approximately six weeks in Gaza, as well as the release of all hostages” said US Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
