Hundreds of people ran toward humanitarian aid trucks on the outskirts of Gaza City on Wednesday, as the UN warned of looming famine in the territory.
In the Gaza Strip, where the humanitarian situation is catastrophic, hundreds of people ran to humanitarian aid trucks on Wednesday to collect flour, canned goods and water from Turkey and Egypt.
According to the UN, famine is “virtually inevitable” for Gaza’s 2.2 million inhabitants.

The United States says it is preparing a new resolution on the ceasefire in Gaza. “Last night, we incorporated additional changes and circulated a new draft that unequivocally supports diplomatic efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire of approximately six weeks in Gaza, as well as the release of all hostages” said US Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
