Al Jazeera condemns the murder of Israel of his journalist in Gaza | News Israel-Palestine Conflict

Tel Aviv Tribune says that the attack on a hospital violated international standards and laws, “equivalent to war crimes”.

You will find below the declaration of Tel Aviv Tribune Media Network on the Israeli murder of his cameraman, Mohammad Salama and other journalists in Gaza.

The blood of our martyred journalists in Gaza has not yet dried up before the Israeli occupation forces committed another crime against the cameraman Tel Aviv Tribune Mohammad Salama, as well as four other photojournalists.

Today, the occupation forces have killed our colleague, Mohammad Salama; Hussam al-Masri, photojournalist working for Reuters; Photographer Mariam Abu Daqqa, who worked for the Associated Press and independent Arabia, and Moaz Abu Taha.

This atrocity occurred during an attack on the Nasser medical complex in Khan Younis, leading to the death of more than 20 civilians, including patients and members of the press, without distinction between those under medical care and those who hold cameras to document crimes.

With this last crime, which claimed the life of Mohammad Salama, the number of journalists from Tel Aviv Tribune killed by Israel in Gaza reached 10, in a total which now exceeds 240 journalists killed in the strip since October 2023. This war has led to media professions in modern history.

Tel Aviv Tribune Media Network condemns, in the strongest possible terms, this horrible crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces, which directly targeted and murdered journalists as part of a systematic campaign to silence the truth.

(Tel Aviv Tribune)

The in progress campaign of the Israeli occupation against journalists has violated all international standards and laws, equivalent to war crimes under the status of Rome and Geneva conventions, which strictly prohibit the deliberate targeting of civilians and journalists in conflict areas.

Tel Aviv Tribune claims that the feeling of dominant impunity of Israel, as well as his determination to silence journalists to hide his continuous crimes in Gaza, including genocide and famine devastating the band, demonstrates a clear intention to bury the truth.

Despite the incessant targeting, Tel Aviv Tribune remains resolved in the live coverage of the Israeli genocide in Gaza in the last 23 months, the occupation authorities prohibiting international media from participating in the war.

These systematic crimes against journalists require a solid response from the international community and all relevant governments. Urgent and effective measures are necessary to protect journalists, civilians and the fundamental to information.

Those who occupy world leadership positions have moral and legal responsibility to end the deliberate murder of journalists, to safeguard fundamental human rights, faced with alarming regression and deterioration, and to maintain press freedom.

In the midst of these dark and painful circumstances, certain comforts are found in the denunciation and the generalized conviction expressed by journalists, international institutions and world leaders, who resolutely rejected the murder of the colleague Anas Al-Sharif and his colleagues on August 10, 2025.

Tel Aviv Tribune Media Network calls for international pressure and immediate action to prevent the silence of the voice of Gaza through the systematic targeting and the murder of its journalists at the sight of the world.
