Al-Hilal was crowned the Sudanese Football League title today, Tuesday, with a great victory in the 4-0 match against Mars at the Damer Stadium in the decisive round of the title.
Al-Hilal advanced with a goal for the player Mohamed Abdel Rahman, then Abdel-Raouf Yaqoub added the second goal of the team, who continued his clear superiority and shake the net of his rival with a third goal scored by the Wali al-Din Pogba to end the first half ahead of 3-0.
In the second half, Yaqoub concluded the scoring with a late goal, to end Al-Hilal, the match, 4-0.
With this victory, Al -Hilal raises its score to 14 points equally with Al -Ahly, Dr. Madani, and Mars, but the blue team settled the title with the advantage of the number of victories and the goal difference, where he won 10 games and drew in a match and lost two games, and scored 14 goals compared to 4 goals in his goal.
A record for the crescent
Al -Hilal strengthened its record number in the competition by winning the title for the 31st time, the expansion of the difference that separates it from its closest competitors, Mars, who won the title 20 times.
The Sudanese Federation (Elite League) held with the participation of 8 clubs to determine the identity of the local league champion and also the teams participating in the continental championships during the new season.
This is the first summit in Sudan since the outbreak of the war on April 15, 2023, as the two teams faced twice in the Mauritanian League, Al-Hilal won 2-1 in the first match, and Mars won the second with a clean goal.
