Palestinian Red Crescent Society President Discusses Impact of Israel’s War on Palestinian Health System
Since October, Israeli forces have been bombarding Gaza daily, killing tens of thousands of Palestinians and injuring many more. Israeli attacks on hospitals and medical facilities in Gaza have been particularly devastating, killing health workers and aid organizations and crippling medical services. Large areas are in ruins, medical care is scarce, and many people face starvation. Younis Khatib, president of the Palestine Red Crescent Society, discusses these pressing issues in an interview with Tel Aviv Tribune.
