Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), an American non-profit organization supported by the United States and Israel, was created earlier this year to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza. Its aid distribution was started in May, after an extended stop of supply deliveries to the enclave. But according to the UN, more than 1,000 Palestinians were killed while trying to access food in the GHF aid centers.
The hungry and besieged Palestinians in Gaza have no choice but to travel several kilometers to collect essential food packages of the four highly militarized hubs. Palestinian doctors and civilians told Tel Aviv Tribune that the GHF and Israeli troops had systematically opened fire to aid seekers, killing dozens at the same time.
The heartbreaking accounts were corroborated by video evidence, reporters and Israeli soldiers, and murders fueled international outcry – including the convictions of the United Nations Heads of State and Human Rights Defense Agencies.
Who is responsible for the killings?
Mainly Israeli troops, but mercenaries working for GHF are also involved, according to Euro-Med Rights Monitor, which documents the atrocities against the Palestinians.
EURO-MED also alleges that Israeli forces have allowed the Palestinian gangs to loot the convoys of help and to terrorize civilians.
Anthony Aguilar, a retired United States special forces officer, who was previously employed by the GHF, recently revealed that some of the brutal treatments with which the Pals-en-Pales are confronted with aid sites.
“Without a doubt, I witnessed war crimes by (Israeli soldiers),” Aguilar to the BBC told an exclusive interview.
How are Palestinians killed?
Doctors and survivors of Gaza say that Israel often uses elite shooters to directly target Palestinian aid.
Dr. Fadel Naeem said he frequently treated the survivors at the Arab hospital in Al-Ahli City and that most of the ball wounds he sees are for the “head, chest and abdomen”.
He noted that Israel also seems to be drawing without discrimination against hungry Palestinians, sometimes pulling tear gas, explosives or artillery shells with large crowds. These attacks often cause serious burns, as well as wounds with flesh and bursts of shells.
“There are often tears of serious fabrics … and many (wounded) end up with amputated members,” said Dr. Naeem.
Other Palestinians support fractures and broken bones, generally trampled in the crazy rush to flee Israeli shots or obtain a food aid bag.
Dr. Hassan Al-Shaer, who works at Al-Shifa hospital, also says that many injuries are serious.
“Many (injured) victims who come to see us also have fatal injuries, and they are immediately taken to the operating room,” he told Tel Aviv Tribune.
What is an excuse Israel for these killings?
Israel officially denies having shot the Palestinians and frequently affirms that his troops only draw “warning shots” outside the GHF distribution clusters to prevent overcrowding.
The Israeli army also says that “chaos” on sites is an “immediate threat” for army soldiers.
However, according to a report published by the Israeli daily Haaretz on June 27, Israeli troops represent the real threat.
Many soldiers who served in Gaza admitted that they had been “condemned to shoot” directly from the Palestinian aid researchers by their superiors.
“Where I was parked, between one and five people was killed every day. They are treated as a hostile force – no measures to control the crowd, no tear gas – just living fire with everything that is imaginable: heavy machine guns, grenades, mortars,” a soldier told Haaretz.
“It’s a killing field,” he added.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Katz both deny allegations and claim that they are equivalent to “blood defamation” against Israel, which means that they assimilate to a false and anti -Semitic accusation that Jewish people assassinate Christian children to use their blood in religious rituals.
Do medical evidence in the field support the official account of Israel?
No, the accounts of the doctors of the Gaza hospitals and clinics do not support Israel’s complaint.
Dr. Shaer, Al-Shifa, noted that many injured people had started to enter the hospital when the GHF began to help distribution at the end of May.
Low injuries are often aggravated with low diseases and immune systems, the effects caused by famine in Gaza.
Hakeem Yahiya Mansour, a 30 -year -old Palestinian emergency doctor in Gaza, added that “death still occurs” on GHF sites.
“Most of the calls we receive come from the environment (distribution areas),” he told Tel Aviv Tribune.
What do GHF sites look like?
Images of the sites show thousands of hungry Palestinians overcrowded on a band of land almost the size of a football field, according to Doctors Without Borders, known by its French initials MSF.
Aid seekers are surrounded by duty and are often forced to fight for food plots that are thrown into hungry crowds at poorly arranged and chaotic distribution points.
The tanks are often parked nearby and help seekers can hear the terrifying buzzing of drones above them.
According to the satellite imagery obtained by the verification unit of Tel Aviv Tribune, Sanad, the Palestinians have little space to maneuver or receive help.
Despite the dangers, the Palestinians are faced with an impossible choice: to die of shots or famine. Many have chosen to accept the risk and to seek help in the hope of getting food for their families and young children.
Mohanad Shaaban said he hadn’t eaten for three days, pushing him to head to the GHF site on July 30. He remembers seeing two tanks on the site – one on the right and a second on the left.
“The (Israelis) then opened fire,” he recalls solemnly.
“Please tell the world to end this famine.”
How does the world react?
Scenes and heartbreaking images of Palestinians dying of hunger and killed on GHF help sites have forced some of the Israel allies to issue sentence and severe ultimatums.
France, Germany and the United Kingdom have recently published a statement of an exhorting Israel to develop vital aid.
In addition, France has crossed the symbolic stage of recognizing a Palestinian state, which the United Kingdom has also threatened to do, unless Israel sets the “appalling situation” in Gaza and engages in the “two-state” solution. Canada also said it would recognize a Palestinian state in September.
