On Saturday, the Dutch laid out Breda squares with about 10,000 children’s shoes as a reminder of the victims of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, while the Japanese depicted Palestinian victims in front of a shopping mall in Tokyo, amid continuing demonstrations in support of Gaza in European cities.
Every few minutes, the Dutch added a new shoe, indicating the rapid pace with which Israel is targeting children in the Gaza Strip.
In the Shinjuku area of the Japanese capital, Tokyo, a demonstration was held in front of a commercial center, during which demonstrators depicted the scenes of the victims killed as a result of the Israeli attacks on hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
The demonstrators lay in the street and remained silent and motionless, wearing blood-stained clothes and raising Palestinian flags, in order to embody the scene of the victims killed by the Israeli army in Gaza hospitals.
The demonstrators also placed dolls covered in blood-stained shrouds, in reference to the infant victims in Gaza, and the demonstrators also raised several banners, calling for sanctions to be imposed on Israel.
In the Netherlands, pro-Palestine activists in the city of Zwolle distributed free food outside a McDonald’s restaurant to raise awareness about the company’s boycott over its funding of the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
Hundreds also demonstrated in the Swedish cities of Malmo, the Italian city of Milan, the German capital, Berlin, and the Austrian capital, Vienna, in support of the Gaza Strip, denouncing the Israeli massacres, and demanding an end to the aggression that has been ongoing for about 9 months.
On a daily basis, many cities around the world are witnessing massive vigils in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and to demand an end to the Israeli war on Gaza, the lifting of the siege on the Strip, the entry of aid into it, and the prevention of the export of weapons to Israel.
