There is a new push to force ultra-Orthodox Jews to serve in the Israeli army.

Israel has called on its reserves to wage its ground war against Gaza.

But its ultra-Orthodox Jewish community has enjoyed an exemption from military service for decades.

Today, the Minister of Defense says they must join the fight.

But can we achieve a national consensus on such a controversial issue?
