Netanyahu insists the war on Gaza will continue – despite growing anger over the killing of three captives by the Israeli army.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has again declared that his military campaign in Gaza will not stop until Hamas is defeated.

But with more than 100 Israeli captives held in Gaza, he faces growing public anger – and pressure to do more to secure their release.

To make matters worse, the Israeli army claims to have mistakenly killed three of them – one of whom was holding a white flag – during a military offensive in the Gaza Strip.

This led thousands of Israelis to protest in Tel Aviv.

The head of Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad has met with senior Qatari officials in Europe in a new attempt to secure a prisoner swap.

So can Netanyahu reach a deal after failing to secure the release of all captives? And how does he deal with the anger of their families?

Presenter: Folie Bah Thibault
