Why lure the occupation soldiers in the way the resistance wants? Al-Duwairi answers | News

The military and strategic expert, Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi, said that there are several reasons behind the repeated ambushes and their success in luring the Israeli occupation soldiers, in the way that the resistance factions in the Gaza Strip want.

Al-Duwairi pointed out – during his analysis of the military scene in Gaza – that some of the reasons are related to the circumstances of time and place and field data, adding that it is not possible to project one case onto another case.

He added, “There are differences in geography, weather, the size of the invading Israeli force and its armament, and many other factors, in addition to the possibility of surprise.”

But Al-Duwairi added that there is an important reason related to the lower levels of Israeli leaders in the occupation army (officers and non-commissioned officers), saying that they are “non-combatants, unqualified, and unprofessional.”

He cited the statements of Israeli contractor General Yitzhak Brick, in which he said that the Israeli army lost its efficiency and professionalism during the era of former Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi, when the army turned to technology and focused on the air force, and that it was not qualified to fight in built-up areas.

Al-Duwairi warned that the Israeli side must withdraw from the Gaza Strip if it is logical based on what is happening to the occupation army in Gaza, since the large ground operation late last October.

The military expert praised the mentality of the Qassami commander, who was managing the last Beit Hanoun ambush, and lived inside the mind of the planner in the occupation army, anticipating his steps and being one step ahead of him.

He stressed that the Beit Hanoun Brigade is still active, adding that “no force that has collapsed or lost its fighting ability could perform this wonderful work,” describing the ambush as one of the most complex ambushes.

On Thursday evening, Tel Aviv Tribune broadcast exclusive scenes and new details of a boat ambush carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades, in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, late last May.

A Qassam commander told Tel Aviv Tribune that the ambush was carried out in 3 stages and lasted 26 continuous hours, stressing that the occupation forces advanced towards Beit Hanoun according to the path that the Qassam fighters had predicted in advance, before they were forced to stop their advance and withdraw from the axis completely.
