Why is the occupation trying to change the axes of its incursion towards Jabalia? A military expert answers | News

The military and strategic expert, Colonel Hatem Karim Al-Falahi, said that the Israeli occupation army is trying to find out from where it can resolve the battle in the Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Falahi explained during his analysis of the military scene in Gaza that the military occupation operations are still faltering in Jabalia, pointing out that new incursion attempts into the camp are coming from Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun to the north.

He pointed out that when the occupation collides with a solid bloc and strong resistance, it tries to change the axes of its incursion, as it tries to put pressure on Jabalia from the northern region to distract the attention of the resistance that is present in “Block 2”, “Block 4”, and “Block 5”.

The occupation’s incursion from the eastern region towards Jabalia – according to the strategic expert – is the origin of the military operation, and the occupation army is currently trying to test other axes for the possibility of deepening the incursion into the region, despite the intense air and artillery bombardment over the past days and the fall of dozens of martyrs.

According to Al-Falahi, the Israeli military sectors – fighting in Jabalia – were reinforced with special units, including the Shaldag unit, which is considered the first special forces of the Air Force, and Sayeret Metical, which operates behind enemy lines and installs eavesdropping devices and participates in prisoner-liberation operations.

On the morning of May 11, a spokesman for the occupation army announced the start of a massive attack on Jabalia camp, which it began with an intense aerial bombardment that targeted the homes and property of citizens, while the resistance factions conducted a strong defensive battle, which they reinforced with videos targeting the occupation and its vehicles.
