Why does Israel move to take control of Gaza City? | Gaza News

The move would force hundreds of thousands of Palestinians.

The Israeli government says it will take control of Gaza City, install a different administration and try to eliminate Hamas.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared earlier than Israel planned to take over the whole band.

The Israeli army already controls around 80% Gaza. People with more than two million people who live there were bombed, hungry, moved several times and forced in temporary shelters.

So why did Israel make this announcement now?

Does the Prime Minister try to appease the right-wing members of his cabinet?

Or does he try to harm the international conviction of the artificial hunger crisis?
