The Israeli occupation army continues its military operation in the northern Gaza Strip with great intensity of fire, reaching the point of burning Kamal Adwan Hospital after days of bombing and bombing operations with explosive robots in the vicinity of the building.

Military expert, retired Major General Muhammad Al-Samadi, believes that the occupation forces failed over the course of 84 days of military operations in the northern Gaza Strip to achieve a “decisive” victory, which prompted them to escalate their revenge operations against the residents there.

According to Al-Sammadi’s statement – to Al-Jazeera – the resistance inflicted heavy losses on the ranks of the occupation army at the level of individuals and vehicles, prompting the Israeli forces to carry out retaliatory operations, “which may be the most difficult of their kind in the northern Gaza Strip.”

Earlier today, Friday, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced the implementation of a complex operation east of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, while the Israeli occupation army announced the killing of two officers and the wounding of others.

Al-Qassam explained that one of its fighters blew himself up with an Israeli force consisting of 5 soldiers, leaving its members dead and wounded, noting that its fighters were able – using Israeli-made hand grenades – to snipe two soldiers within a rescue force that advanced towards Tal Al-Zaatar, east of Jabalia.

The military expert expressed his conviction that Israel has reached the point of no return, as there are no military targets, but rather a systematic killing of Palestinians, forcibly displacing them, and preventing them from returning to destroyed cities. He described the occupation army as “gangs of killing, extermination, and burning.”

In this context, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz quoted an intelligence officer in the Southern Command as saying that the army operation in the northern Gaza Strip is faltering, indicating that the rate of Hamas regaining its military arm is high.

According to Al-Sammadi, Israel is trying to fabricate justifications in front of local and international public opinion in order to commit more killings and crimes against the Palestinians, but he acknowledged that the resistance is fighting fierce battles and has a combat doctrine that in the current war is inflicting heavy losses on the occupation.

According to the same newspaper, Israeli army officers are conducting a systematic destruction operation in Gaza to obstruct or prevent Palestinians from returning to the destroyed cities, and it pointed out that the continuation of the war in Gaza leads to a crisis in the army’s manpower.

On October 6, the occupation army announced the start of a new military operation in the northern Gaza Strip, under the pretext of “preventing Hamas and the resistance factions from regaining their power in the region.”

Since then, 35 Israeli soldiers and officers have been killed in battles in and around the camp, and hundreds of them have been wounded, according to a military affairs analyst for Haaretz newspaper.

This is the third time that the Israeli army has invaded Jabalia camp, after invading it in December 2023 and last May.
