Was the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle carried out by the Palestinian resistance, led by the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), correct?

Did the leaders of Al-Qassam and the rest of the factions really know what they wanted on October 7th?

What benefit did the resistance gain from this operation? Why did they subject the people of Gaza to this killing and devastation?

Many questions spread on social media platforms days after the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, about its consequences. Was it a correct operation or was it absurd?

All these questions were answered by an investigation revealed by the Israeli press, according to some activists. Israeli Channel 12 revealed a plan approved by Shin Bet head Ronen Bar on October 1, just a week before the Al-Aqsa flood battle, and approved by Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy, which calls for launching a pre-emptive strike and assassinating Akbar 6. Leaders in the Gaza Strip, led by Yahya Al-Sanwar, Muhammad Al-Deif and others.

Commenting on what was revealed by the Israeli press, tweeters said that a few days after the start of the battle, Saleh Al-Arouri, the deputy head of Hamas who was assassinated by Israel in Lebanon, came out to announce that the October 7 operation was a pre-emptive strike for a major offensive operation that the enemy was planning.

They added that the head of the Hamas movement, the martyr Yahya Al-Sinwar, preceded him in this when he said that Al-Qassam intelligence told them that they were facing a battle and a great victory at the end of 2023, and that was a full year before the war.

Bloggers pointed to the recent speech of Abu Ubaida, the military spokesman for Al-Qassam, on the anniversary of October 7, when he revealed one of the most important reasons for carrying out the Al-Aqsa flood, which was that the strategic attack was a pre-emptive strike, with which the resistance caught the Israeli occupation by surprise, which was preparing the attacks. The latter was a major offensive operation against the resistance, targeting its first, second and third leadership ranks, just as the strike was directed by the occupation against the Lebanese Hezbollah.

Activists said that what was revealed by the Israeli press in these investigations is the greatest evidence of the correctness of the battle decision. Rather, it was a mandatory decision in which there was no choice, to surprise the enemy.

Others added that the Israeli investigations confirm that Al-Qassam Intelligence was reading the Israeli political kitchen well, and the decision to enter this battle with force and severity was a very correct decision, as Gaza was facing a major massacre that the resistance preempted by eliminating the Gaza Division in the occupation army in a few hours in the most brilliant military operation it had ever witnessed. Modern history, according to some tweeters.

Bloggers drew attention to the fact that these investigations indicate several things that highlight the readiness of the resistance, its field readiness, and the presence of its operational plans in an organized and thoughtful manner.

As for intelligence work, some tweeters said that the resistance surpassed Israeli intelligence in all aspects, and that it was also able to destroy the theory of Israeli superiority over the rest of the region.

Commenting on what was revealed by the Israeli press, activists said that reality proves this fact because it is illogical for the occupation to be able to assassinate the leaders of Hamas and the leaders of Hezbollah so quickly without prior planning, meaning that the occupation has been preparing for this war for a long time… and perhaps the resistance has obtained accurate information.

Others said that the future will reveal to us the results of the Al-Aqsa Flood, whether positive or negative.
