Military and strategic expert, Colonel Hatem Karim Al-Falahi, said that the Israeli occupation army is implementing several tactics during its ongoing incursion into the city of Jenin and its camp in the northern West Bank, and it is also resorting to recycling them in light of the resistance’s knowledge of them and how to confront them.
Al-Falahi explained – during his analysis of the military scene in the West Bank – that the occupation army is resorting to the isolation process in Jenin, as it relies on main streets and then tightens the cordon around the areas included in the scope of the military operations being carried out.
After that, the streets and buildings are being gnawed at – according to Al-Falahi – with the aim of reaching the resistance factions and entrenched fighters.
The military expert also pointed out another tactic adopted by the occupation, which is to demolish homes from the inside and move from one house to another to avoid being directly targeted by the resistance factions.
He pointed out that the occupation uses drones extensively, in addition to bombing operations in specific geographical areas, adding that all of this means that the Israeli army relies on intelligence information in raids and arrests.
Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent Mohammed Khairi reported that the occupation forces blew up residential homes in the middle of Jenin camp, especially on Al-Damj Street, amid ongoing clashes and shooting in the Al-Jabariyat and Al-Damj neighborhoods, while the Israeli forces continue to push more vehicles and bulldozers to continue destroying the city’s infrastructure.
The resistance’s confrontation with the occupation forces is still ongoing, according to Al-Falahi, citing the continuation of the Israeli military operation in Jenin for the sixth consecutive day and its failure to end as happened in Tubas in the northern West Bank.
According to the spokesman, the occupation army is operating in areas that are still densely populated, where some homes are being evacuated to tighten control over the area, in addition to climbing up high buildings and using them as headquarters for the invading forces.
He concluded that the occupation army’s tactics are known to the resistance factions, recalling the incursions, assassinations and arrests carried out by the Israeli army throughout the past period, before confirming that the occupation is recycling these tactics to reach the areas where the resistance fighters are fortified.
