West Bank: A family under fire from critics | Documentary

A Palestinian family of activists in the occupied West Bank resists settlement expansion as violence escalates.

Hafez Hureini, a decades-old activist in Masafer Yatta in the occupied West Bank, has thwarted Israeli annexation attempts since the 1980s through nonviolent resistance. Now aged around fifty, Hafez hands over the reins to his sons Sami and Hammoudi, who try to continue his peaceful activism, but in a much more dangerous context. They face the devastating war in Gaza that has emboldened Israeli settler violence in the occupied West Bank. West Bank: Family Under Fire is a documentary film by Katie Arnold.
