Al-Jazeera correspondent and its bureau chief in the Gaza Strip, Wael Al-Dahdouh, returned to covering the course of the Israeli war, which has entered its fourth month, a few hours after the martyrdom of his eldest son, Hamza, and his burial.
Al-Dahdouh said at the beginning of his speech to Al-Jazeera broadcaster Laila Al-Sheikhly, “May God bless you, thank God for your efforts, and may God Almighty accept and connect hearts,” before continuing his talk about the latest developments in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
