Our colleague Wael Al-Dahdouh said after his son Hamza was martyred in an Israeli bombing on Sunday in the southern Gaza Strip, “We are continuing despite the sadness and loss, remaining committed to this path that we chose voluntarily and watered with blood.”

Colleague Wael added that a person grieves and suffers from loss, “so what if it is the firstborn?”, pointing out that his son Hamzah was everything to him, and that these are “tears of sadness and separation, not tears of fear and alarm.” They are “tears of humanity that separate us from our enemies. We hope.” May God be pleased with us and write us among those who are patient.”

Colleague Wael explained that this situation is the reality of the Palestinians who bid farewell to their loved ones as martyrs, calling on the world to look at what is happening in the Gaza Strip and what people and journalists are exposed to there, calling on the world to put an end to this massacre, saying, “I hope that the blood of my son Hamza will be the last blood among the journalists.” And people in the sector.”

Journalists Mustafa Thuraya and Hamza, son of colleague Wael Al-Dahdouh, were martyred today, Sunday, as a result of a missile from an Israeli drone that targeted the car in which they were traveling near the Al-Mawasi area, southwest of the Gaza Strip, according to an Al-Jazeera correspondent.

The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced that the martyrdom of journalists Hamza Wael Al-Dahdouh and Mustafa Thuraya brings the number of journalist martyrs in Gaza to 109 since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Strip, calling on all press unions and media, human rights and legal bodies to condemn this crime and denounce its repetition.
