Watch…the third Al-Qassam ambush against the occupation in Rafah in revenge for Sinwar | news

Today, Thursday, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), broadcast scenes of its fighters carrying out a third ambush against Israeli occupation soldiers and vehicles in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, as part of a revenge operation for the head of the movement’s political bureau, Yahya Al-Sinwar.

Al-Qassam called the combined operation – consisting of 3 ambushes – “Victory for the Blood of Sinwar”, and it took place in the vicinity of the Burj Awad Junction in the Al-Geneina neighborhood, east of Rafah, on November 24.

Al-Sanwar – who is described as the commander of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle – was martyred during a clash with the occupation forces in the Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah, in mid-October.

At the beginning of the video, Al-Qassam said that its fighters remained in their places after carrying out the first and second ambushes, waiting for the occupation forces to kill the third ambush, despite the intensity of the artillery and air bombardment on the El Geneina neighborhood.

The footage included Al-Qassam fighters targeting two D-9 military bulldozers with two “Al-Yassin 105” shells, in addition to targeting two Israeli troop carriers with two anti-armor shells.

The scenes also included targeting a building with a number of Israeli soldiers holed up inside with an anti-personnel missile, in addition to hitting a “Merkava” tank with an “Al-Yassin 105” missile.

Al-Qassam concluded the video by threatening one of its field commanders with ambushes against the occupation, stressing that “what you say is what you see, not what you hear,” and at the same time pledged to fight until victory or martyrdom.

At the beginning of this December, Al-Qassam broadcasted scenes from the first ambush as part of Operation Revenge for Sinwar, and it included several stages that began with sniper operations targeting Israeli soldiers who came from the Salah al-Din axis (Philadelphia axis), then striking the occupation vehicles and rescue forces with anti-armor shells.

On the third of this month, Al-Qassam broadcast scenes from the second ambush, which included targeting a building inside which a number of occupation soldiers were holed up with an anti-personnel missile, as well as targeting an engineering vehicle and a D-9 military bulldozer with two “Al-Yassin 105” shells.

The footage also included scenes of clashes with occupation soldiers, and a helicopter that Al-Qassam said was to evacuate the dead and wounded.

On November 22, Al-Qassam announced a complex operation that began after monitoring the sniper operation of 4 Israeli soldiers with the “Ghoul” rifle, noting that two soldiers were confirmed killed.

Al-Qassam explained in its statement that a “Merkava” tank – which came to the rescue of the soldiers – was targeted with an “Al-Yassin 105” anti-armor missile, confirming that it caught fire.

Al-Qassam also targeted a military bulldozer that advanced to remove the burning tank with an anti-armor shell, while a helicopter landed to evacuate the dead and wounded, according to the Phalange’s statement.

The Al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza have been documenting their operations against the occupation army forces and vehicles in various combat axes since the start of the Israeli ground operation on October 27, 2023, and many details about the operations carried out against the occupation forces appeared during the video clips.

It also carried out successful ambushes against the occupation army, inflicting heavy human losses on it, in addition to destroying and damaging hundreds of military vehicles.
