Pictures showed the Israeli occupation forces mutilating the body of a Palestinian martyr while demolishing parts of a house in the town of Qabatiya, south of the city of Jenin in the West Bank, after besieging it for hours and bombing it.

The occupation forces stormed the town, sent in large military reinforcements and a demolition vehicle, surrounded the house located in the Al-Kahlisha area, and demanded one of the young men to surrender himself.

Eyewitnesses reported that the young man refused to surrender himself and clashed with the occupation forces that were surrounding the house, so the occupation forces began bombing the house with a number of incendiary missiles, killing the young man as a martyr. This coincided with a military helicopter flying over the town.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that the Israeli occupation forces declared the Jenin camp a closed military zone.

This comes after the occupation forces stormed the camp, and their bulldozers destroyed the infrastructure in a number of streets and internal markets in the city of Jenin and its camp, and besieged several areas in the vicinity of the camp and Khalil Suleiman Governmental Hospital, amid heavy drone flight in the sky of the city.

For its part, the “Jerusalem Brigades – Jenin Brigade” said that it detonated a number of devices in Israeli occupation vehicles, causing direct casualties.

On a daily basis, the Israeli army storms cities and towns in the West Bank to demolish property, bulldoze infrastructure, or arrest those it calls wanted persons. It usually assaults Palestinians during these raids.

In conjunction with its ongoing war on the Gaza Strip since last October 7, the Israeli army expanded its operations in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, and settlers intensified their attacks on Palestinians and their property.

Since that day, the number of Palestinians who were martyred by bullets from the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank reached 543, in addition to about 5,200 wounded, in addition to 9,170 arrested, according to official Palestinian authorities.
