A number of current and former Liverpool players participated in the funeral of their colleague Dugo Gota, who died last Thursday, accompanied by his brother André Silva in a terrible car accident in Zamora Province near the Portuguese border.
Liverpool coach Arni Sal Slot and the captain of the team, Virg Van Dyck, was at the forefront of the funeral participants, as the body of Gotta was buried in the city of Porto.
A number of other players also attended, most notably the Scottish Andrew Robertson, Argentine Alexis McAl Alesster, Italian Federico Keiza and others, while the Egyptian Mohamed Salah did not appear in pictures, and it is not yet known whether he had participated in the funeral or not.
Liverpool players wore black suits and ties, and carried red wreaths in the form of Liverpool shirts with the two numbers “20” (Jota number with Liverpool) and “30” (his brother Andre Silva with his team Benaville).

The Spanish coach Roberto Martinez attended the Portuguese national team, as he expressed his great grief over the death of Gota, who celebrated with him almost a month ago by crowning the European Nations League.
“I can only say that these are very sad days, today it was a sign that we are all together for Dugu and Andrei and that we represent Portugal, Dugo and his brother will remain with us forever,” Martinez said.
The Dugo coffin was carried by the family and a number of his friends, while his wife Rott rooted at the back of the coffin, at a time when the streets of Gondumar were covered with the flags of Portugal and Liverpool, which bears the phrase “you will never go alone.”
Before the launch of the funeral, there were the song “Avi Maria”, which was played less than two weeks ago at his wedding.
Among the Portuguese funeral participants were the Portuguese funeral, the captain of Manchester United, while the Crescent duo, Robin Neves and Joao Kansilo arrived in Portugal via a private plane just hours after the end of the “Leader” and Brazilian Flomeini match in the Club World Cup quarter -finals.

On the other hand, Liverpool goalkeeper Alison Baker was unable to attend the funeral, and he was satisfied with publishing a message of condolence in which he wrote, “I usually spread things that have meaning, but today there is nothing meaningful.”
He added, “Once again, a complete ocean separates me from bid farewell to someone I love, but I know that my teammates represent me the best acting.”
Alison completed his message, “To my friend Rot (Gotta’s wife), know that you will never walk alone, and we will be with you as soon as possible.”
