Irish Badi McCuri kidnapped the spotlight during a combat arts championship in the Italian capital, Rome, after defeating his Israeli counterpart, Choke Faraj, a soldier in the occupation army.
McCuri, 27, was not satisfied with the defeat of Faraj during the “Cage Warriors 189” event of mixed martial arts, but rather shouted at his face loudly, “freedom for Palestine”.
McCuri shouted this sentence while he was completely dominated by Faraj, who was involved in the continuous ethnic cleansing crimes in Gaza, according to the “Sports Politica” website.
After announcing his unanimous victory, McCuri raised the Palestinian flag and himself participated in many footage through his account on the “X” platform, attached to the suspension of “Street’s justice”.
On the other hand, Faraj canceled his accounts on Instagram and Facebook after revealing his participation in the extermination war on the Gaza Strip, as his image in military uniforms and his weapons remains in front of a destructive building in Gaza that circulates widely on social media.
It is noteworthy that Faraj is training in a hall in the occupied city of Ramla owned by Daniel Micolson, known for his constant incitement to kill the Palestinians in Gaza, where he participated in a leaflet in which he wrote, “No one is innocent. They all eliminate them.”
Many believe that McCuri’s victory over Faraj holds a deep symbolism, especially in light of the wave of anger and resentment in the world from the constant genocide crimes in Gaza, as well as the use of famine as a weapon by the Israeli occupation army and its right -wing government led by Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to the same site, “Varage was not just a opponent for Maccori, but rather represents the occupation and violence machine. So his fall in front of an Irish fighter who speaks of solidarity with Palestine is a rare moment in which some felt a moral and symbolic victory for the Palestinians who live under the weight of genocide.”
He added, “It is true that the mixing arts of mixed arts will not restore the dead and will not reduce the suffering of Gaza’s victims, but it reminds the extent of the extensive opposition to the policy of the Israeli government aimed at genocide.”
