Watch.. Honoring 600 veiled women in Al-Aqsa Mosque | Variety


Today, Saturday, the “Muslimat” Foundation in the Palestinian interior honored more than 600 veiled women, through a ceremony held in Al-Aqsa Mosque on the occasion of their wearing the veil, as part of a project that is being held for the second year in a row.

The director of the organization organizing the ceremony, Naseeba Issa, told Tel Aviv Tribune Net that the ceremony is part of the “My Hijab is My Identity” project.

She said that the ceremony included veiled girls last year, adding that “despite the difficulty, the pilgrimage to Al-Aqsa Mosque continues.”

For their part, the participants expressed their joy at wearing the hijab and being honored at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
