Watch – Gaza.. Released prisoners reveal the tragedy of their starvation and torture | Policy

Gaza- After 3 weeks, during which they experienced various types of humiliation, starvation, and torture, the Israeli occupation army released approximately 20 Palestinian civilians, including sick and elderly people, whom it had arrested from their residential homes and shelter centers inside schools, in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune Net documented painful and shocking testimonies of three of these detainees, whose bodies showed severe signs of torture. They say that the occupation army practiced psychological and physical torture against them during the harsh days of investigation, which focused on the leaders, members, and capabilities of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

The health condition of a number of detainees required their admission to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment. According to the head of the Health Emergency Committee in the city of Rafah, Marwan Al-Hams, the liberated detainees are suffering from severe fatigue as a result of the methods of torture and starvation practiced by the occupation army against them.

The released detainees were forced to endure the hardship of walking about 3 kilometers on foot, to reach the Palestinian side of the Kerem Shalom commercial crossing, southeast of the border city of Rafah with Egypt, while hundreds of others are still detained by the occupation army, including journalists, doctors, paramedics, and women. And children.
