Today, Thursday, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, broadcast scenes of the bombing of an Israeli military vehicle east of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, after a convoy of military vehicles was lured into a minefield.
The scenes showed preparing anti-armor ground explosive devices of the “Thaqib” type, then carrying them, planting them, and camouflaging them on the path taken by Israeli military vehicles.
One of the field commanders of the Al-Quds Brigades said in the video that the planting of the bombs came after news was received by the fighters that an Israeli military convoy was advancing near the Civil Administration site east of Jabalia.
The footage included careful monitoring of the Israeli vehicles before they arrived in the ambush area, and the moment the bombs were detonated, one of the vehicles was directly hit, and fire and smoke erupted from it.
On Wednesday evening, the Israeli army announced that 3 soldiers were killed and 3 others were injured during battles in northern Gaza, while Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that the killing of the three soldiers was due to the explosion of explosive devices placed on a tank in Beit Hanoun in the north.
A preliminary investigation revealed – according to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority – that a bomb exploded in a tank, killing 3 soldiers and wounding 3, one of them in serious condition, bringing the number of military deaths to 46 soldiers and officers since the start of the Israeli operation in northern Gaza more than 3 months ago.
The resistance factions in Gaza have been documenting their operations against the occupation army forces and vehicles in various combat axes since the start of the Israeli ground operation on October 27, 2023, and many details about the operations carried out against the occupation forces appeared during the video clips.
It also carried out successful ambushes against the occupation army, inflicting heavy human losses on it, in addition to destroying and damaging hundreds of military vehicles.
