Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, broadcast scenes of its fighters carrying out a complex ambush targeting an Israeli tank in the northern Gaza Strip last May.
Al-Saraya said in the video, “Its fighters carried out a complex ambush to target a Merkava 4 tank with a Tandom shell and an anti-vehicle shock device,” confirming that everyone inside the Israeli military vehicle was killed or wounded.
The scenes showed footage of preparing the ambush, planting the bombs, and monitoring the occupation army’s vehicles, all the way to the complex ambush point and then targeting it.
The footage also included showing the effects of the destruction of the Israeli tank and its remnants following the occupation’s withdrawal from the ambush site.
At the end of last month, the Israeli army withdrew from the northern Gaza Strip, after a massive military operation that lasted 20 days, leaving unprecedented widespread destruction, especially in the Jabalia camp and its surroundings, and burning hundreds of homes.
The resistance factions in Gaza have been documenting their operations against the occupation army forces and vehicles on various fronts of combat since the start of the Israeli ground operation on October 27, and many details about the operations carried out against the occupation forces appeared in the video clips.
