The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), broadcast video scenes that it said were of its fighters targeting Israeli occupation soldiers and vehicles on the frontlines of the advance east of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
The scenes documented the entry of an Israeli foot force into a house, detonating an anti-personnel device inside it, killing 6 soldiers and wounding others in the Al-Tanour neighborhood, east of Rafah.
The Brigades also showed in the video the moment a vehicle with two Israeli soldiers was targeted and exploded.
The date of implementation of this operation – as stated in the Al-Qassam video shown by Tel Aviv Tribune – dates back to yesterday (5/18/2024).
The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that they had targeted, with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell, an Israeli “Merkava 4” tank near the Martyr Imad Aqel Mosque in the Jabalia Camp, northern Gaza Strip.
