The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – broadcast scenes that it said were of a complex operation carried out east of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, and targeting occupation soldiers and vehicles east of the city of Rafah in the southern Strip.
In the combined operation, Al-Qassam fighters targeted a Merkava tank and a troop carrier with Al-Yassin 105 shells, and opened fire from a BKC machine gun at a group of soldiers who were next to a troop carrier east of the Jabalia camp.
The scenes – as appeared in the video clip shown by Tel Aviv Tribune on Friday – showed Al-Qassam fighters targeting from a close range the Israeli tank, from which heavy smoke was rising, and targeting the occupation soldiers with their machine guns, while one of the fighters said that he hit the target.
In the second video shown by the Al-Qassam Brigades, its fighters targeted Israeli occupation soldiers and vehicles on the fighting fronts east of the city of Rafah.
The resistance factions continue to carry out several operations in various areas of the Gaza Strip, inflicting human and material losses on the occupation soldiers.
