Regarding the Lebanese front, the US State Department said that it is continuing what it called making progress to reach a diplomatic solution in Lebanon, and that it will discuss in Israel the broad outlines of a possible diplomatic agreement in Lebanon.
She added that she is focusing on what she called Iranian arms supplies to Hezbollah, and that she still sees Iran as “a major threat in the Middle East, and continues to support Israel in defending itself.”
