The Washington Post confirmed that US President Donald Trump’s decision to dismiss his national security adviser Michael Waltz was a natural result of the accumulation of frustration situations towards him, as it seemed enthusiastic about using military force more than Trump himself, especially against Iran.

The newspaper revealed that Waltz’s mistake by adding a journalist to a special chat on the Signal platform was only the drop that overflowed the cup, as he had previously collided with prominent officials in several areas, including military intervention in Iran.

She added that the chief White House employee, Suzy Wales, also noticed that Walz was no longer suitable for the president.

Washington Post quoted two sources that Waltz angered Trump after the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Washington at the beginning of February, where the American National Security Adviser seemed to be adopting Netanyahu’s conviction that it had been time to strike a military strike against Iran.

Some of the Trump administration officials – Washington Post continued – said that Waltz was trying to weigh the military action, and that he was working in close coordination with the Israelis.

The newspaper quoted two sources in the White House as saying that the dismissal of Waltz came despite the attempts of some prominent members of the administration -including Vice President JD Vans -to save him.

She stated that members of the Trump administration felt that Waltz days were numbered even before the “Segenal Gate” scandal, where some White House officials warned that he might be one of the first senior advisers to be replaced.

The Washington Post continues that the appointment of Waltz was surprising from the beginning, despite his loyalty to President Trump, his directions in foreign policy were tending to militancy.

And about Russia, it was preferred to follow a strict approach towards President Vladimir Putin, while Trump pursued more reconciliation methods towards Moscow and Tehran, as he sent in both cases his close friend Steve Witakouf as his special envoy in efforts to make deals.
