He explained that Tel Aviv informed Washington that it believes that this procedure is necessary to defend itself.

In the context, two US officials told the island that the United States does not participate and does not assist Israel in its strikes against Iran.

Commenting on the start of Israel, an attack on Iran, Republican Senator Lindsay Graham said that “the game started and prayed for Israel.”

On the other hand, the New York Times quoted Democratic Senator Jacques Reed that Israel’s strikes on Iran “not only threaten the lives of innocents, but also the stability of the entire Middle East.”

CNN quoted a White House official that US President Donald Trump is in the process of holding a ministerial meeting coinciding with Israel launching its attack on Iran.
