Washington condemns the attacks on the oil fields in Iraqi Kurdistan news

The US State Department, yesterday, Wednesday, strongly condemned the attacks of the Misrals that have been targeting since July 14, oil fields in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

The region announced yesterday, Wednesday, the registration of attacks with car bombs on 3 oil fields in Dohuk Governorate, after a series of similar attacks that recently targeted energy facilities.

The “Anti -Terrorism Agency” in the region said yesterday morning, Wednesday, that an attack with two car bombs targeted an oil field affiliated with a Norwegian company in Duhok Governorate in northern Iraq, as well as a similar attack on another field of the company.

In this way, 5 oil fields in Iraqi Kurdistan have been attacked by enlightenings this week, while Wednesday’s attacks came in the day after an attack on an oil field managed by an American company in Erbil Governorate that led to the suspension of work in it.

In recent weeks, Iraq, especially the Kurdistan Region, has witnessed several attacks with enlightenings and missiles that the authorities did not define the authorities behind them, while Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shi’a Al -Sudani ordered the opening of an immediate and expanded investigation to determine the parties behind the attacks.
