Kyiv claims to have sunk a missile corvette and its crew near Crimea. In eastern Ukraine, several municipalities were evacuated due to the danger of fighting on the front.

Ukrainian intelligence services have released a video allegedly showing a successful attack by one of their naval drones on a Russian warship near Crimea. This would have allowed a missile corvette to be colored “Ivanovets”with 40 people on board and four anti-ship missiles “Moskit”. According to Ukrainian media, Russian search and rescue operations in the area “were unsuccessful. Moscow has not yet made any comments on this matter.

Kyiv also said Moscow has so far refused to return the bodies of Ukrainian prisoners of war believed to have been killed in a plane crash near Belgorod, despite repeated requests. The United Nations said the recent Russian strike on the city of Kherson hit a humanitarian center run by a local NGO. In the eastern Ukrainian regions where most of the clashes are taking place, evacuations have resumed in Vuhledar, Mariinka and Kurakhove, due to the danger of ongoing fighting and shelling. Evacuation assistance is provided within the framework of a project of the Proliska humanitarian mission, the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
