War in Ukraine: Kyiv claims to have sunk a Russian patrol boat


Ukraine says it has destroyed the Russian patrol boat Sergei Kotov: several Magura V5 maritime drones are said to have sunk the warship of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea.

Ukraine says it destroyed a Russian warship in the Black Sea.

According to kyiv, several Magura V5 maritime drones sank the patrol boat Sergei Kotov near the Kerch Strait, the arm of the sea between Russia and annexed Crimea.

The attack reportedly caused casualties but Ukrainian intelligence believes that the crew partially succeeded in evacuating the building.

Over the past two years, the Ukrainians have managed to push back the Russian fleet deployed in the Black Sea.

The Ukrainian army assures that a third of the Russian fleet in the area is no longer able to operate.

At the same time, Ukrainian intelligence says it has struck an oil depot in the Russian region of Belgorod, while the Ukrainian port of Odessa came under intense bombardment during the night from Monday to Tuesday.

According to local authorities, around twenty drones targeted the city without causing any casualties.
