As snow covers much of the northern Chernihiv region, Ukrainian servicemen dressed in seasonal camouflage are put to the test.

They learn to identify and repel Russian saboteurs.

A threat that Chernihiv, like the neighboring region of Sumy, often faces.

For its part, the Danish association Defense Ukraine collected money and purchased professional winter clothing, which will be given to Ukrainian soldiers.

Fighters need it badly as winter takes its toll.

In the Mykolaiv region, northwest of Kherson, the village of Blagodatné was almost razed to the ground by the fighting.

We must rebuild and quickly.

Winter will soon knock on the doors of ruined homes.
