Walid Al-Omari: American participation is possible in recovering Israeli detainees News

Director of Tel Aviv Tribune’s office in Ramallah, Walid Al-Omari, revealed the details of the Israeli military operation in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, which led to the martyrdom of more than 210 Palestinians, during which the occupation army said that it was able to recover 4 detainees.

Walid did not think that the United States had helped return the four detainees whom the Israeli army announced today that they had recovered from Gaza in an operation in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

He said that from the first day of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, Tel Aviv received trained American generals who had fought the battles in Fallujah and Mosul in Iraq, and who supervised and directed the Israeli crews during the Gaza war.

Although Israel did not announce that it had received American support to recover its prisoners, American officials, political and military, had previously announced that they would help Israel reach detainees held by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza. As the director of Tel Aviv Tribune’s office in Ramallah said.

Axios quoted a US administration official as saying that the US kidnapping cell in Israel helped recover the four detainees.

Process details

Speaking about the details of the operation, Walid said that two cars, one a truck and the other a civilian car, infiltrated the Nuseirat area, similar to what the Israeli army does in the rest of the camps. Then there was monitoring of information that reached the occupation and its authenticity was confirmed from Wednesday to Thursday night.

Information indicates that the four Israeli detainees are in two houses near Al Awda Hospital and the Nuseirat camp market.

Al-Omari said that the Israeli decision was taken on Thursday to give the green light to the security services, the army, and the Yamam unit to carry out the operation when conditions were ripe, and therefore the meetings that were scheduled were canceled in case the information would leak.

While Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Defense Minister Yoav Gallant were following the operation from the operations room in Tel Aviv, the attack began in the direction of the two houses in which the 4 prisoners were held, namely: a girl who was in a house alone and 3 who were in another house not far away in the Nuseirat area.

The Israeli police forces and special forces from the Internal Security Service (Shin Bet) began raiding homes, while the Israeli army had sent large ground forces from the east and military helicopters carried out extensive bombing, resulting in a huge number of martyrs and wounded among the Palestinians.

Estimates indicate – according to Walid Al-Omari – that fierce battles took place in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital and the vicinity of Nuseirat Market, which lasted about 3 hours, after which the four detainees were transferred in two helicopters from the sea area to Tel Aviv Hospital.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s bureau chief said that the Israelis described the operation as bold, and some of them considered it an “image of victory.”

It is noteworthy that the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth announced that an officer in the Yamam Unit was killed during the operation to recover the four detainees.
