The Ukrainian military on Saturday hit a submarine in annexed Crimea and a fuel depot in Russia’s Rostov region.
The Ukrainian military announced on Saturday that it had sunk a Russian submarine in the port of Sevastopol in annexed Crimea.
Earlier in the day, Kyiv claimed to have struck the Morozovsk airfield in Russia’s Rostov region, destroying an ammunition depot. It also hit a fuel depot in the same region.
In his daily address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed the achievement of targets in Russia and annexed Crimea, saying that “Every strike of this type brings us closer to the end of the war.”
He also again called on his allies to lift restrictions and allow Ukraine to target Russian territory with Western weapons.
