The Israeli Walla website said that the army decided to extend the period of its military operation in the Jenin camp in the West Bank, which was scheduled to end yesterday, Tuesday, while 33 Palestinians were killed and about 140 were injured in the West Bank since last Wednesday.

The Israeli website added that the extension of the operation came by order of Defense Minister Yoav Galant, based on the continued arrival of intelligence information regarding the military infrastructure in the camp.

The website quoted military sources as saying that the army neutralized highly explosive devices in the Jenin camp, some of which weighed more than 100 kilograms.

The sources added that the increasing warnings in the southern West Bank may lead to a large-scale operation there if the security situation deteriorates.

In Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank, the Israeli military operation in Tulkarm camp continues for the third day amid a wide siege imposed by the occupation army.

The Al-Qassam Brigades – Tulkarm Battalion said that its fighters are engaged in armed clashes alongside the rest of the factions and have detonated explosive devices in several axes inside Tulkarm camp, achieving direct hits among the ranks of the occupation army, between dead and wounded.

Clashes

The clashes come as Israeli bulldozers continue to destroy infrastructure and Palestinian property inside the camp.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that 8 Palestinians suffered from suffocation after the occupation forces detonated explosive devices in Tulkarm camp, causing a fire.

Medical crews confirmed to Tel Aviv Tribune that the occupation is deliberately obstructing their work and preventing them from entering the camp.

In Hebron, a young man and a child were injured by the occupation forces’ bullets during their storming of the city of Adh Dhahiriya.

For the fourth time in three days, the occupation forces stormed the town of Idhna and raided the home of the martyr Muhannad Al-Aswad, the perpetrator of the Tarqumiya operation, in addition to a number of the homes of the martyr’s relatives, and ransacked their contents.

The Israeli army radio reported that the army arrested a Palestinian youth from the town, claiming that he helped Al-Aswad carry out the operation.

The occupation forces also stormed the Jalazone camp, north of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate in the West Bank, amid gunfire and tear gas bombs.

Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces raided a number of homes, detained more than twenty people and subjected them to field investigation before withdrawing from the area.

For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported the martyrdom of 33 Palestinians and the injury of about 140 in the West Bank since last Wednesday.

The Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Authority also reported that the occupation forces arrested at least 30 Palestinians since yesterday evening, including children.

In a statement, the commission said that the occupation had arrested more than 180 Palestinians from the West Bank since the start of the recent military campaign.
