Violent clashes in Jenin and the occupation storms various areas of the West Bank News


A number of occupation military vehicles stormed the city of Jenin amid violent clashes, according to local media, while the occupation forces renewed their raids into many cities and camps in the occupied West Bank.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin late yesterday evening from all its entrances, especially the western entrance of Jenin camp and Al-Sikka Street.

She pointed out that the occupation bulldozers began the process of destroying the infrastructure at the entrance to the city, the outskirts of the camp, and Al-Sikka Street, which led to the outbreak of confrontations with young men.

The occupation bulldozers destroyed fruit and vegetable stands in the vicinity of the industrial area roundabout, next to Al-Hathnawi Restaurant and the Grand Mosque, and stands in the main roundabout area in the city.

Resistance fighters were able to detonate explosive devices in occupation army vehicles near Nazareth Street during the storming of the city of Jenin.

Local sources reported that the outskirts of the city are witnessing large military reinforcements by the Israeli occupation forces from all sides, adding that occupation drones and reconnaissance aircraft are flying in the skies of the city and the camp.

Later, the occupation forces positioned themselves on the outskirts of the camp and Al-Zahraa neighborhood, and deployed their snipers on the roofs of several buildings.

According to social media, the electricity supply was cut off in large areas in the city and camp of Jenin, coinciding with the occupation’s storming of the city and its camp.

In Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank, the occupation vehicles stormed the city from its western axis, and roamed the western neighborhood, specifically Khadoori University Street, Al-Maqbara Street, and the Martyr Ziad Daas Roundabout.

On Tuesday, the city of Tulkarm held a funeral for the bodies of the martyrs Yousef Ali Al-Khouli (22 years old), Ahed Salman Musa (23 years old), and Tariq Amjad Shaheen (24 years old), who were assassinated by the Israeli occupation forces in the Aktaba suburb east of the city on Monday evening.

In the same context, the occupation forces stormed the town of Zeita, north of Tulkarm, and raided a number of citizens’ homes, conducted a broad search inside them, and subjected its residents to interrogation.

Following the storming of the town, confrontations broke out during which the occupation soldiers fired heavy tear gas bombs at the young men, but no injuries were reported, according to Wafa Agency.

In Qalqilya Governorate, the occupation forces stormed the town of Jayyus, where they fired sound bombs into citizens’ homes.

In Ramallah, the occupation forces stormed the outskirts of the Sateh Marhaba neighborhood in the city of Al-Bireh and raided two homes. They also stormed the town of Bitello with several military vehicles and detained a number of young men and two vehicles.

It is noteworthy that the raids have not stopped since the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood on the 7th of last October, in addition to the daily arrests, as a statement by the Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club stated that the number of Palestinian detainees in the occupied West Bank has reached 5,755 since the 7th of October. the past.

While the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh, described what is happening in the West Bank as dangerous, security leaders warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the West Bank was approaching a major escalation, according to Israeli media.
