The Al-Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility for the Gush Etzion and Karmi Tzur operations near the city of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, while the occupation intensified its attacks on areas in the West Bank, including Jenin, where it faces fierce resistance.
The Al-Qassam Brigades said that with the revelation of its first martyrdom operations in the Hebron Governorate, it confirms that all the West Bank governorates without exception will continue to hide more painful and major surprises for the occupation, the latest of which was the Tarqumiya operation yesterday, carried out by the martyr Muhannad Mahmoud Al-Aswad.
The Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that it will continue to supply and support the resistance in the West Bank and carry out qualitative operations against the occupation.
In the same context, the Jenin Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades announced that its fighters targeted the occupation forces in the fighting axes in the Jenin camp.
She added that its elements showered the occupation with heavy bullets and explosive devices in various combat axes, achieving direct hits.
The resistance is confronting
The Israeli occupation forces continue their attacks on the city of Jenin and its camp for the sixth consecutive day.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that resistance fighters confronted the occupation forces, and clashes and explosions broke out inside the camp’s neighborhoods.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also said that the Israeli occupation army opened heavy fire with its machine guns near the Cinema Roundabout in the center of Jenin.
For its part, the Israeli army said that a warplane raided a cell of militants last night in the city of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
The army added that the cell members had targeted army forces in the city with explosive devices.
The people bid farewell to the body of Laith Shawahneh, who was martyred in an Israeli raid on the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of the city of Jenin.
The mourners demanded a response to the ongoing crimes of the occupation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
In Jenin, residents also buried the body of a Palestinian who was martyred as a result of torture at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces, according to what was announced by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
The occupation forces arrested Ayman Abed, 55 years old, from his home at dawn today and took him to one of their checkpoints.
The Prisoners Club and the Prisoners Affairs Authority said that the occupation committed a complex crime against the martyr prisoner Ayman Abed, who was arrested from his home and executed in the field by torture.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the number of martyrs reached 29 and 121 were injured in the West Bank since Wednesday, raising the death toll to 681 martyrs and about 5,700 injured since October 7.
Other developments
In Ramallah, the so-called Regional Council of Settlements north of the city announced the neutralization and detonation of a car bomb at the entrance to the Ateret settlement, without causing any injuries.
An Israeli military spokesman said that a military force went to the site after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle, and found two gas cylinders inside the vehicle that were connected to the vehicle’s activation system. The settlement’s residents were asked to stay in their homes until the explosives experts’ work at the site was announced to be complete.
Channel 14 also reported that gunfire was fired at an Israeli military site near the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, in the southern West Bank.
In a parallel context, the occupation forces demolished a house this morning in the village of “Al-Duyuk Al-Tahta” west of the city of Jericho in the Jordan Valley, under the pretext of not having a permit.
Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces stormed the village accompanied by a demolition bulldozer and began demolishing the house, which housed 5 people, most of whom were children.
According to statistics issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the Israeli occupation authorities have carried out demolition operations targeting 864 Palestinian facilities since October 7.
In a related context, the occupation forces stormed the house of the perpetrator of the Tarqumiya operation in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, destroyed the contents of the house, and subjected the martyr’s family to investigation.
The occupation forces had previously warned the family against opening a house of mourning for the martyr and threatened to destroy it.
The Israeli occupation forces also arrested 20 Palestinians, including former prisoners, last night and this morning, in various parts of the West Bank.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said that the occupation forces have arrested no less than 130 Palestinians since the start of their latest military operation in the northern West Bank 6 days ago, and the arrests were accompanied by attacks and abuse of the detainees.
