Violent bombardment on northern Gaza and the rise in martyrs of the “Tents Holocaust” in Rafah | News

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that Israeli artillery shelling and raids continued today, Monday, on the Al-Faluga area in the Jabalia refugee camp, north of Gaza, in addition to the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, and the Al-Zaytoun and Al-Sabra neighborhoods in the south.

This comes as the number of martyrs as a result of an Israeli bombing targeting a camp for displaced people northwest of Rafah rose to 40 martyrs, including women and children, and dozens were injured.

The reporter stated that the occupation army blew up residential buildings in the Al-Faluga area of Jabalia camp, causing damage to a large number of nearby buildings.

He also reported violent Israeli bombing and raids on the area, as well as continuous artillery shelling on the Al-Zaytoun and Al-Sabra neighborhoods, south of Gaza City.

Martyrs and missing persons

On the other hand, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that 5 Palestinians were martyred, including a pregnant woman and a child, in addition to a number of wounded after the occupation aircraft targeted a house for the Al-Batran family in the Zarqa area, north of Gaza.

The reporter added that there are missing people under the rubble, and they are being searched for using primitive means.

In central Gaza, the reporter said that a number of Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombing at the gate of a shelter for displaced persons affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) on Salah al-Din Street, east of Deir al-Balah.

He added that 3 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing on the Nuseirat camp, while the Quds News Network reported from local sources that occupation vehicles were firing east of the Al-Maghazi camp.

Yesterday evening, Israeli raids targeted a camp for displaced people near UNRWA warehouses near the Tal al-Sultan area, west of the city of Rafah, which led to the spread of fires over large areas, leaving dozens of martyrs and wounded.

The Ministry of Health in the besieged sector announced that the occupation forces committed a new massacre in the “tent crematorium” in the camp, which is located in an area that is supposed to be safe and where there are tens of thousands of displaced people.

Sources reported that a large number of bodies of martyrs and wounded, the majority of whom were children and women, arrived at the Tal al-Sultan clinic.

Eyewitnesses indicated that the bombing led to the destruction and burning of a large number of tents in the camp, which is not located within the area that the Israeli army demanded to be evacuated in the city of Rafah, where thousands of displaced people reside.

The government media office in Gaza said that the occupation army bombed more than 10 UNRWA displacement centers during the past hours, and that the targeted displacement areas and centers were areas considered safe by the Israeli occupation.

Shelter centers

The media office confirmed that 190 citizens were killed and injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted shelter centers in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.

He explained that the occupation’s message by targeting displacement centers is that the Holocaust against the Palestinians continues, calling on the International Court of Justice and human rights organizations to pursue Israeli war criminals, and to open the Rafah crossing to help treat the wounded, given the collapse of the health system in Gaza.

Since May 6, Israel has been launching a ground attack on Rafah, and the next day it seized the Palestinian side of the Rafah land crossing with Egypt, which closed it to the exit of wounded people to receive treatment and the entry of already scarce humanitarian aid.

The occupation army continues its devastating war on the Gaza Strip for the eighth month in a row, causing the death, injury and loss of tens of thousands of civilians, most of them women and children, and famine and an unprecedented health and humanitarian crisis, according to UN and international reports.
