Video. WWII Motorcycle Parade Celebrates D-Day Anniversary

A convoy of 170 Harley Davidson motorcycles from the Second World War traveled the roads of Normandy on Tuesday to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the landing.

The gathering began with an exhibition at the Normandy Victory Museum, where visitors could admire the historic motorcycles.

The owners of the old vehicles then began a 90 km convoy, with historic stops in Auxais, Graignes, Carentan, Sainte-Marie-du-Mont and Utah Beach.

According to the organizers, the youngest biker was 19 years old and the oldest 83 years old.
