Video. WHO still provides aid to Gaza hospitals

WHO continues to assist around 10,000 patients unable to access adequate care on site, including those with multiple injuries and chronic illnesses requiring urgent evacuation.

Medical evacuations had ceased since May 8, 2024, following the closure of the Rafah crossing to the south. Despite ongoing tensions there, WHO remains committed to supporting healthcare and providing humanitarian assistance in Gaza.
