Ursula von der Leyen stressed the importance of limiting tariffs and sanctions to avoid a “global race to the bottom”, emphasizing the need for economic stability alongside environmental action.
Donald Trump’s controversial decision has sparked debate in Davos, where discussions range from climate policies to electric vehicles.
At the same time, Greenpeace activists managed to disrupt the opening of the Forum by unveiling a banner inside the venue entitled “Tax the super-rich”.
